What is Split Second Strategies Active Shooter Survival Training?

Split Second Strategies Active Shooter Survival Training is the most comprehensive and affordable active shooter training available.  The class is interactive and interesting, and covers a wide range of topics from prevention, awareness, survival and recovery in the aftermath.

What makes Split Second Strategies Different from Other Active Shooter Training Classes?

First and foremost, Active Shooter Survival training is our passion. We are not a security company or a human resource company that provides active shooter survival classes in addition to other duties. We also offer verbal de-escalation classes, but our primary focus is Active Shooter Survival Training.

The program was designed to train students to think for themselves and take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others around them in times of crisis. It is an OPTIONS based training program. We have no “acronyms” to remember. Split Second Strategies Active Shooter Survival classes teaches students:

Trust Your Instincts

First and foremost, trust your instincts - is that sound gunfire? Yes! Is this really happening to me right now? YES!

Act in a split Second

To act in a split second, and find cover…something that will stop a bullet.

Decide What to do

To decide what to do next, depending on the situation. Do I RUN, HIDE OR FIGHT?

Learn Quick Decisions

Split Second Strategies helps students make these important decisions very quickly, and most importantly, teaches them HOW to run, HOW to hide, and HOW to fight.

Know the Steps

Split Second Strategies will teach you to:
Hide and Barricade, Get Away,
or to Attack and/or disarm

When Police Arrive

Student learn what to do and what not to do when the police arrive, which is important for everyone's safety

When it's Over

And finally, Return and Reunite or check in electronically when the incident is over

Unlike other training programs, Split Second Strategies follows the NO NOTORIETY protocol.

We follow the No Notoriety protocol because we believe in active shooter prevention, and notoriety is what past assailants want. Their wishes will not be showcased in Split Second Strategy training classes. We believe that it is totally unnecessary to show videos of past attacks in order to train students and prepare them for these types of situations.

In addition, Split Second Strategies uses all of our own professionally produced videos. The videos shown in the presentation are extremely helpful in teaching students what to do in an active shooter or gun violence situation.

No Names

NO NAMES of assailants will be used in the presentation.

No Pictures

NO PICTURES of assailants will be shown

No Videos

NO VIDEO manifestos will be shown

No Attacks

NO VIDEO OF ATTACKS WILL BE SHOWN

0 %

In a recent survey conducted by Everbridge, “69% of organizations view an active shooter incident as a potential top threat, but 79% replied that their organizations were not fully prepared for this type of event.”
